Get to Know Me

I am an editor with more than 10 years of experience. I’ve worked with AP, APA, and Chicago style guides. I also have 7 years of experience as a layout designer using Adobe InDesign, and I have worked as a part-time art director for 4 years. I currently work at the Oncology Nursing Society as a Staff Editor for two bimonthly peer-reviewed oncology nursing journals, where I work with authors to make articles the best they can be, put those articles into layout, and art direct covers with a slate of illustrators. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, canoeing, backpacking, and biking. I have 2 dogs (a cattle dog and a schipperke/cattle dog mix) who love to join my partner and I on our adventures. I have a lifelong love of learning and have acquired a variety of creative hobbies, such as metalsmithing, stained glass, watercolor, and knitting.
